It has a 6-speed automatic transmission powered by Isuzu's legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine which Isuzu Good Bastards across New Zealand have come to love. Even better, the all-new MU-X now has a 3,500 kg braked tow rating - towing your boat or trailer has never been easier. With Isuzu's Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS*) as standard, the all-new MU-X is safer than before and comes with added luxuries like Adaptive Cruise Control, dual-zone climate air-conditioning, heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and a 9-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 8 speakers.

Standard across the range, Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS) technology includes an extensive list of both active and passive safety systems. Employing state-of-the-art sensors and a stereo camera, IDAS constantly monitors your surrounding environment for danger. Should it detect a collision is imminent, the system will work to help the driver to defuse dangerous situations via alert systems and automated functions. Each MU-X model includes eight airbags as standard and a stronger, more robust chassis, as well as a reinforced cabin safety cell for ultimate protection. PASSIVE SAFETY TECHNOLOGY

THE INTERIOR

The all-new MU-X has cup holders in all 3 rows, storage for tissues, a 12v 120-watt power socket and 3 USB ports in total. The upper center console storage, under steering wheel storage, deep door pockets, and seatback pockets provide storage solutions for those easily misplaced but much-needed items. Still need more space? Fold-down the rear seats, or make use of the roof rails which come as standard on the all-new MU-X.
